Adolph Galipeau

Adolph was born in St. Henrie, Quebec to Joseph Galipeau b. 1847 and Josephine Thouin de Roch Galipeau b 1841- both of St. Henrie, Quebec. They immigrated to Iron River Michigan in 1880.   He married twice.  His first wife was Rose Dorais Galipeau.  They had 2 children Beatrice Galipeau b 1899 and Valerie Josephine Galipea b 1896. Rose died.  He married Flora LePage Galipeau and had 2 sons: Eugene Joseph Galipeaub. 1911 and Raymond F. Galipeau b 1910.  He moved to Racine WI by 1930.  Adolph owned and ran a barber shop on Calumet St. in Iron River, MI prior to moving to Racine.

I am Adolph and Flora's great grandchild via Eugene Galipeau's daughter Kathleen.
