Mildrajeanne Chatterton, 78, died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Avon Nursing Home in Avon, Fulton Co, Illinois.

Mrs. Chatterton was born November 1, 1926, in Farmington, Fulton Co, Illinois, to Farlie and Lottus Brashear Green. She married Stuart "Sam" Chatterton on July 10, 1949, in Farmington. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Brett and Greg, three daughters, Debbie Burkhead, Kim Weese and Kelly Mack, one brother, Malcolm Green, one sister, Farlene Clayton, fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a degree in music and was a music teacher in the Avon and Valley school districts, a piano and voice instructor, and an organist and choir director at Prairie City Presbyterian Church. She was an active volunteer at Avon Nursing Home.
