Career - U.S. Army - Supply Corps - Retired after about 20 years service due to health. Suffered a stroke in 1967. Ray and Grace lived in Arkansas and Oklahoma (Ft. Sill). When he was stationed overseas in Germany and South Korea, Grace remained in the U.S. Gravestone Inscription: "Iowa - M. Sgt. U.S. Army - World War II - Korea" Avid baseball fan. Cousin to Evan P. Quirin, Grace's sister Margaret Quirin's husband.
