Russell A Rohlman

Mr. Russell A. Rohlman, age 77, of Toledo, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at the Franciscan Care Center, Toledo, Ohio. Russell was born in Toledo, Ohio on Tuesday, November 9, 1926, to Henry T. and Doris I. (Weible) Rohlman. Russell proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and retired after 20 years with the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sgt. While in the Air Force, he served in Vietnam, Tawain, Germany and England, where he received various medals, awards and commendations. Russell was a life member of VFW Post #606, American Legion North End Post #576 AMVETS, Air Force N.C.O., F.O.E. Aerie #197 and N.R.A.

As an avid sportsman, he was also a member of the Great Northern Sportsman Club and a member of the Dana golf league.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wendell and nephew, Gary L. Rohlman Sr.

Surviving are his brothers, Edsel (Betty) of Toledo and Wilbert (Emma) Rohlman of Lake City, MI; sister, Carol (Albert) Dally of Lawton, OK and many nieces and nephews.

Toledo, OH (419) 473-1301, Sunday, September 26, 2004, from 2-8 p.m. where services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2004, at 11 a.m. Officiating Pastor Burley N. Clay. V.F.W. services will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. Interment Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 3450 W.
