God Fearing
George Washington, as hero of the Revolutionary war and figurehead of victory to the American colonists, was an extraordinary man. He who was given absolute power over the fledgling country of the United States was extraordinary in his giving that power up as soon as it was unnecessary. He who was given the position of President of the United States chose of his free will to lay down the Presidency after seeing that our country was on its feet. He stands among very few people throughout the world's history to hold and wield enormous control over others but not become controlled by it.
