I was taking my Aunt Daurice to the fire dept to get her some medical care, as it was right down the road, but she died in my car before we left the neighborhood, I laid her on the side of the drive in front of the guard house and did CPR until the paramedics arrived. But she was already gone; they pronounced her at the hospital.
Daurice was born with Osteogenesis imperfecta and lived to be 73 years old. She stood 3 feet tall and never walked in her life. At first she rode in strollers then her parents met a man named Cook, I think his first name was William; he designed a red tricycle for her that she could push with her feet and was able to get around and be self sufficient to an extent.
Her Mother Lula was told that it was because she didn't drink enough milk when she was carrying her. She was 85 before we found out that it had a name Osteogenesis Imperfecta or O.I. - Brittle Bone Desease.
Daurice remembers that she had a Great or Great Great Aunt that also had OI but she didn't remember her name.
