Dad served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was stationed in Alaska and was a Signal Corp officer. He was never deployed but met my mother there when she was working as a secretary on base. He lived in a quonset hut and had to take a little walk to the facilities. He is the son of Eschol L Walker, Sr. who also served in the Marines for a few years. Grandpa always loved and respected the military.
