| The Morning Call - Allentown, Pennsylvania

Frederick B. Laufik, 87, of N.Whitehall Twp., passed away December 24, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was married  for 63 years. Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Boldsar) Laufik. He was the proprietor of Laufiks Jewelry Store, Northampton, for 54 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall. A U.S. Naval veteran of WW II, he was a member of the VFW  Post #7293, Egypt and the Catholic War Veterans. He was a former member of the Queenship of Mary Council #4050, Knights of Columbus. Fred enjoyed and was an avid golfer.  Survivors:  Wife, son, at home; sister, nieces ,nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William and Frank and a sister, Margaret. Services:  9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 29, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Whitehall. Viewing from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment, Blessed Virgin Cemetery, Northampton.  Contributions:  To the church c/o the funeral home 18037.
