Royal Bird McKibbin was my grandfather. He was born in 1878 in or near Wauseon, Ohio. His parents were Robert Irvine McKibbin and Nancy Jane Fairchild. Roy married Beatrice Elizabeth Hughes and they had two children: Juanita "Nita" Mae McKibbin and Hugh Robert McKibbin. Roy became a state representative from Gladwin County to the Michigan Legislature.
