Military Service

| Camp Sherman, Ohio

George Almond Hunt was employed as a farmer at the time he entered military service on August 27, 1918 at Boonville, Indiana.  He was sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio and assigned to the 21st Company, 6th Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade.  He died of bronchial-pneumonia on October 12, 1918 at Camp Sherman, Ohio.  He was buried in the Cemetery, north of Boonville, Indiana.
