Fred Edward Dunford My Hero!! CWO 2 US Army RET
Fred was an MP in the US Army stationed at Fort Monroe Virginia. He served his country well. He served in Japan during the Korean War. He served 13 months in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam War. He served our country for 23 years including the National Guard. He retired CWO 2 from the CID at Fort Eustis Virginia 1972.

Stories

My brothers Carlis Otto and Luther McKinley Dunford.

Carl was in the US Navy, WW 2 at age 16 and was injured in the South Pacific in 1944.. Luther fought hand to hand combat in the US Marines, Korean War 1953. He was 20 miles north of the 38th parrallel in enemy territory. He was with the 1st Engineers Dog Company. He was there 13 months and 11 days! Otto served on the USS Trego. Luther was on the USS Gen. Meigs.

My Brother FRED EDWARD DUNFORD

Fred served in the US ARMY, entered in 1950 was stationed in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam War CID. He served 1 year.He was there in 1966 and 1967.  Received the BRONZE STAR. He retired after serving our GREAT COUNTRY for 23 years as CW 2.
