MARJORIE E. SALING 1926-2011

Marjorie E. Saling, 85, of Caldwell, passed away Friday (Oct. 14, 2011) at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born March 26, 1926 in Noble County daughter of the late Roman and Edna Sorg Crum.

Mrs. Saling was a member of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda and St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell. Through the years she enjoyed sewing, bowling and traveling often.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Saling, whom she married May 6, 1944 and who passed away April 23, 1978; three sons, William R., Kenny C. and Denver A. "Butch" Saling; great- granddaughter Nya Lynn Postlethwait; two sisters, Mary Rose Saling and Louella Macenko.She will be missed by her family, three daughters, Sheila (James) Serdy of Belle Valley, Becky Saling and Christy (Rick) Postlethwait, all of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Archer of Caldwell; three daughters-in-law, Beth Saling, Janet Saling and Debbie Saling, all of Caldwell; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West St., Caldwell, with a vigil service at 8 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda with the Rev. Father Chester Pabin serving as celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
