Martha B Dover

My Mother, a sweet but sad angel on Earth.  She was 4 feet, 11 inches tall; an intelligent woman, creative and a bit sassy.  She lived an improvished life as the child of Mary Angeline Haas and John Fred Dover, but loved them and her siblings deeply.  She was just married, at age 17, when her father died and her mother decided to move to Bakersfield, California.  This resulted in the loss of contact with her closest siblings and the emotional support of her immediate family.  Martha Belle was small in stature but big in Spirit.  At age 57 she slipped slowly into the degenerative and devastating process of early onset Alzheimer's Disease.

Mother told me that I was the best Christmas present she ever got!  She was 24 years old and I was her third child.
