Calvert B Bickle

Cal was a double cousin, sort of...one generation removed.  My Grandfather was brother to Cal's Grandmother and my Grandmother was sister to Cal's Grandfather.  Cal adored his Grandfather Will and emulated him into adult life.  He never swore, he never smoked, he never drank and he conducted himself with great propriety. Cal was very tall, ramrod straight and fine looking.  His height came from his Ransier side for the Bickle's were of short stature as a rule.

Once upon a time, in Southeastern Washington and in the town of Kennewick, there was nary a squirrel to be found.  Cal appeared before the City Council and asked permission to bring some squirrels into the city park.  Permission was granted and now throughout the larger tri-city area there is an abundance of red tailed squirrels much to the consternation of many of the population.
