Richard J Tabin

Grand Junction, Colo. 28 June, 2011. ��” Richard J. Tabin, age 79, resident of Palisade, Colo., passed away June 28, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. Richard was born Oct. 21, 1931 to Boleslaw and Julianna (Adamowicz) Tabin in Wyandotte, Mich. He spent his childhood and received his education in Wyandotte. Richard went on to Henry Ford Trade School in Dearborn, Mich. and was an engineer for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. He married his wife, Joanne, July 19, 1951 in Wyandotte, and they shared 59 years of marriage. Joanne preceded him in death on May 18, 2011 in Grand Junction, Colo. Richard and wife, Joanne, were residents of Blue Springs, Mo., Dearborn Heights, Mich. and Arrowhead Ranch at Cimarron, Colo. Richard loved to work on car engines, ATV’s, snowmobiles, chainsaws, CB’s and whatever needed fixing for all his family and friends for 28 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving family members include two daughters, Lynn (Jerry) Baldwin of Blue Springs, Mo. and Gaye (Don) Zuris of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Norbert (Renee) Tabin of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sister, Rita (George) Patrick of Trenton, Mich.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; a granddaughter; a grandson; and a brother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice or Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado, 3090 N. 12th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
