Sophia Ranich born Soka Raletic in Borovljani, Croatia, June 1884. Married Petar Ranic in Croatia. A daughter Marija was born and died in Croatia at age five. In 1912 Sophia (Sofija) would join her husband Petar in Allegheny County Pennsylvania. Peter & Sophia Ranich resided mainly in Jefferson Twp. (now Jefferson Hills Borough) Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where they would have three sons and five daughters who would live to adulthood. 28 grandchildren...
