Hellen was the first wife of my great grandfather, Thomas WESTNEDGE. She died in the 1860s, Thomas became ill during the Civil War and was parlized in the legs for life. In some way my great grandmother, Mary Burchnall, met and married Thomas, took care of his daughter and they all moved to her family area in Kalamazoo, MI. Much needs to be unearthed to tell the story.
