Slaves at Brick Barn and Buckfield Plantations of Isaac McPherson, 1787

The estate inventory of Isaac McPherson, made in November of 1787, lists the names of 64 slaves at Brick Barn Plantation in Colleton District and 91 slaves at Buckfield Plantation in Beaufort District, SC. Buckfield Plantation is in present-day Hampton County, which was formed from Beaufort in 1878.
