William F. Anthony, 74, of 403 S. Canal St., Walnutport, died Saturday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Ruth L. (Allen) Anthony.

He was a welder at Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 21 years, retiring in 1983.

Born in Treichlers, he was a son of the late Horace and Olevia (Heckman) Anthony.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Two daughters and  two  sons; brother, Merritt of Walnutport; stepmother, Alice (Royer) Anthony of Walnutport; a stepdaughter and a  stepson; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a stepson, Clifford Sell.

Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Harding-Fox Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
