Viola Benzin

Born Viola Gearman (Germain) she married Fredrick Carl Senz in 1917. He left her 3 months later and joined the Navy and never went back. He remarried to a Katheryn A. Bowes in Troy, NY.  Viola was pregnant and she had my grandmother Annette Senz. She left my grandmother with her mother and father, John and Annie Gearman and left to never return. At age 11, Annette was shuffled off to her other grandparents to live, Jacob and Freda Senz. Viola married Carl William Benzin sometime between 1924 when she requested an annulment from Fred Senz and 1928 when she shows up in the Buffalo City Directory married to Carl Benzin. My grandmother, Annette Senz never saw her mother or father again. Seems sad that they would both just abandon their only child.........
