LAUREN DOUGLAS PROTZ (Age 60)

Of Williamsburg, VA, formerly of Northern Virginia, was called home to heaven on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 He served his country proudly while working with the CIA and in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed reading, trains and loved his numerous cats. Beloved husband of 33 years to Carol Ann (Fuss) Protz. Son of Marguerite Protz and the late Douglas Protz. Brother of Judy Miller. He is also survived by a large extended family. Graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the ALS Association, DC/MD/VA Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855.
