Jennie M Briggs

From the J.B. Richmond "Richmond Family" book published ca 1896 (Jennie's mother was Eleanor (Richmond) Topping: 7632. Jennie M. D. Topping 9, born June 23, 1868; married Herman G., son of Henry C. and Mary (Clapp) Briggs. He was born at Howell, Mich., Dec. 6, 1862. His father was born in England, and came to America when seventeen years old. His mother was born in Boston, Mass., and was a descendant of Roger Clapp; her mother was a descendant of Sir Admiral Coffin. Children: Morris H. Briggs 10, born Sept, 15, 1888, in Detroit, Mich.; Lawrence G. Briggs 10, born July 18, 1890, in Howell, Mich.; Eleanor E. Briggs 10, born Aug. 29, 1892, in Howell, Mich.
