Died 1864. Owner of Land's End Plantation in De Soto Parish LA. Signer of Confederate Constitution; Louisiana state senator and delegate to Secession Convention. 1860 US census slave schedule shows Marshall owning over 200 slaves. Probate inventory in July, 1864, placed value of Marshall's slaves at over $176,000.
