An Equity Petition filed by Martha Porcher Palmer Bonneau, widow of Arnoldus Bonneau, is abstracted on the Digital Library of American Slavery.
In the petition, Martha Bonneau seeks to sell 18 slaves who were placed in a Trust account at the couple's 1813 marriage, to be managed by Trustees to benefit Martha Bonneau. The petition states that Joseph Palmer, one of the Trustees, had agreed to purchase nine of the slaves, while Martha's sons John and Peter Palmer were to purchase the remaining three [1].

Martha Porcher Palmer Bonneau (1789-1862) was the daughter of Peter Porcher III and Elizabeth Marion [2]. She married Arnoldus Bonneau in 1813.
