Palmena Doman, 1/2 sibling to Charles O Brown, Jr.

| Santa Cruz, CA

Charles O Brown, Jr. Killed in Action in WWII, 2 Dec.'43 /Italy was the 1st born and only child - a son to Mildred (Baughn) and Charles Orville Brown (Sr.) in 1914.  Charles died within the next 4 to 5 years, maybe in WW I, and "Brownie" went to live with his biological grandmother, Sara L Baughn Sims (Ansel Sims)  Oscar and Sarah Baughn were Mildred's PARENTS.  Oscar passed and Sarah remarried.

Mildred's 1st married Charles O Brown and they had their son, Charles O Brown, Jr.

Mildred remarried to Nick Doman and they had a family, too.

Brownie's Mother, Mildred, later married (about 1922?) a man named Nick Doman, and had at least TWO daughters with him, so Brownie had at least 2 half sisters, Palmena Doman, born about 1923, and Sarah Lou Doman, born about 1926.  Sarah Lou was probably named for Mildred's Mother, Sarah L. Brown Baughn Sims.  Nick & Mildred MAY have had other children, born AFTER the 1930 census.
