big daddy to my family,,great man he had a lot of great children,we were together from birth to adulthood,,we ate together or went hungry together,,of all the things i remember,i had scarlette fever when i was 10 years old  he brought me turnip greens juice and gingerale and said this would make me feel better,,,i believed him,,i drank it and four days later i was up weak but walking around,,,,we lost gene,chubby,hardy,tom,howard and francis to death,elaine lives in georgia,steves lives in greenville sc,,oh how i miss them
