OUR MOMA
1928 | greenvill sc
she was a mother like most,she was a stay home mom until i was 12 years old,then she went to work in the factory[mills] in SC,she had 9 children,Joyce,Edward,Junior,Joanne,Janice,Rodger,Judy,Darlene,Ann,she had to many to count grand children and great grand kids,when we were young we had it very hard,farming,raised hogs,other odd jobs in neighborhood,she played ball with us,great cook,when she said clean house,[every thing was moved and cleaned] bleach and Scrubbed,walls cleaned ,when i say every thing mean every thing in house,big and small,mom did not learn to show love until the last three kids were born,the last two had it easy compared to what we had,growing up,eat fast or not eat,we had friends that were like family the Westbrooks,9 kids to,share food we did it to survive,the yorks,holmes,coggins,all part of neighbors that helped and hung with.have to admit we are a messed up family,can't get three of us in a room with out some one hurting the others feelings,i moved on moved out of SC,trying to find some thing i never had growing up,peace and love and respect,now i have it all,,our oldest brother is now back in our lives he lives in jacksonville fl,he is at peace,when daddy passed away he knew but he decided not to come home and i understand that,he came home when moma passed away but i didn't,i lived in ct then,and no one called to tell me,that's how mixed up the famly is,now i live in peace on the water and i'm living my life as i see fit,i love my family,but i can't live near them,,tried to many times so i gave up,when we all get to heaven,things will change,GOD won't allow one to hurt another in his house,i love you moma

mom i guess you know that your brother passed away yesterday,,uncle jr.passed so tell him we love him and we miss him,,have not seen him in years,thanks to him, uncle woody and uncle paul that i chose a life in the military,,,,i learned honor,commitment,,i will add his death to here when ss realease it,all my love,jo
