EDWIN G. FEASTER

Edwin Guy Feaster, 68, of 1026 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, December 19 [1963], of postoperative complications at Washington County Hospital.

Born at Arthur [WV], he was a son of the late Philip and [Anna] Blanche (Smith) Feaster.

He resided in Petersburg prior to moving to Hagerstown in 1942. While living here he was a member of the Grant County Board of Education for a number of years. He was a former employee of Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown, retiring in 1961.

Mr. Feaster was a member of St. Paul's EUB [Evangelical United Brethren] Church, Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Louella {Rinehart} Roby Feaster; a daughter, Mrs. Anna G. Powell, Hagerstown; a son, Robert K. Feaster, St. James [MD]; a stepson, John G. Roby, Catonsville [MD], three brothers, [Clarence] Newton Feaster, Lahmansville [WV], Carl Feaster, Arthur [WV], and Stanley Feaster, Somerset, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna May, Maysville [WV], and Mrs. Esta McKinnion [McKinnon], Gordon, Neb; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted at the Rest Haven Funeral Home by the Rev. Lester Kuffman and the Rev. Ira C. Keplinger. Interment was in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Edwin Feaster
