Jovo Sekulic came to America in 1921. Born in Vlaislav, Croatia on 19 January 1902. In America his name was known as Joseph Sekulich. He married Anna Laver and had 3 sons and 1 daughter. Jovo resided in Jefferson Township (Now Jefferson Hills Boro), Pennsylvania from 1921 until his death ion 2nd May 1949. Jovo died unexpectedly at the office of Dr. Greenfield in the town of Clairton, Pennsylvania of heart failure. Jovo's father was Toso Sekulic from Vlaislav, Croatia and his mother was Ljuba Raletic born 26th February 1879 at Borovljani 5, Croatia, daughter of Petar and Sava Raletic.
