Obit: Mrs. Elaine Olay, 81, of 141 Sherman Ave. died Saturday in Elk County General Hospital, Ridgway, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 15, 1906 in Challenge, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Magnus Bloom. She married Lloyd R. Olay, who survives. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Ridgway. Besides her husband, Mrs. Olay is survived by three sons, James H. Olay and Glenn M. Olay both of Ridgway, and Lloyd R. Olay, Jr. of Patchougue, NY; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Selsky of Washington, DC, Mrs. Faye Carlson and Mrs. Neva Noal both of Boston, NY, and Mrs. Genevieve Shick of Brockway; and three brothers, Paul Bloom of Brockway, Patrick Bloom of Elbon and Miles Bloom of Reedsville. Funeral services for Mrs. Olay will be held at the Walter L. Lehman Funeral Home, Ridgway on Tuesday at 11 am. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Wilson, Sr. of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
