Jacob Roth, 79, a retired silk weaver, died last Thursday, October 1, 1964, at his home on Williams Avenue, Walnutport. He was the husband of the late Susan (Koritko) Roth.Born in Austria-Hungary, he was a son of the late Jacob and Anna (Demko) Roth, Sr.He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington.Surviving are two sons, Martin of Walnutport, and George of Cleveland, Ohio; five daughters, Marguerite, wife of Preston Fenstermacher, and Elsie, wife of Kenneth Christman, both of Slatington R. 1; Mabel, wife of Chester Peters, Slatington; Kathryn, wife of Raymond Lorah, Keansburg, N. J; and Ruth, wife of Merritt Anthony, Walnutport; a sister Mrs. Michael (Anna) Schupsky, Fullerton, 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Allen E.
