Sarah's family
Sarah was Sarah Frances Pool, daughter of William Marcus Pool & Lucy Dyer. She usually went by her middle name Frances. Frances married Weldon Dortch in Kankakee, IL (near Chicago) and soon after they moved to Milwaukee. They had 5 children: Iva, Stella, Ruth, Clara and George. Clara & George died as toddlers. Life was very hard for Frances, and she and Weldon divorced. Then Frances married James Lyda and remained with him the rest of her life in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
