John Glenn Carries Note of Greeting

| Space

John Glenn was worried about sitting around for 72 hours after landing and before being picked up, in a strange country, surrounded by strange people. He wrote a note and had it translated into several languages, just in case. The note said, "I am a stranger. I come in peace. Take me to your leader, and there will be a massive reward for you in eternity."

I thought the little green aliens were supposed to say, "Take me to your leader."
