Ogden School Gets Former President's Name Wrong
Ogden, Utah (AP) - Ogden School District needs a big eraser.
Turns out naming a new school "James A. Madison Elementary School" didn't quite match the name of the fourth president of the United States.
Madison didn't have a middle initial. A history teacher pointed out the error to the school's principal, who told district superintendent Noel Zabriskie.
Zabriskie verified the error and called the company that was making a sign for the new school. The company was able to fix the name and the sign - absent the extra middle initial - will be installed tomorrow.
Some school letterheads will need to be replaced.
