Changing Faces at BYU
17 Jul 2007 | Provo, UT
While attending BYU this past semester, I was constantly amazed at the plethora of languages that were heard from many international students. BYU has always had the ambition to be internationally reknown, and this is gradually coming to pass. This was particularly evident at the recent graduation in April, where many international graduates completed their studies. While taking a picture in front of one of the university signs, I glanced across the street to the corresponding entrance where one the university mottos "The World is Our Campus," is prominently displayed. Hundreds of tourists from other nations crowded around this entrance for pictures. I imagine this is good news to university administrators, in their analysis of the progress of this university.
