Richard H Fuchsius

Ricky and i dated in High School.  I was in the Drum Corps and he was a Junior Volunteer Fireman with the Sayville Fire Department.  I remember our group went on a field trip to Bear Mountain in upstate NY and we managed to get lost in the woods. We were with Jerry Champlin and Jane Hodgekinson.  When we finally found our way back to the bus, the chaparones were really mad.  At the annual Fireman's Christmas Party, they gave Ricky a map and a compass as his Christmas gift!  We were so embarrassed!  Ricky was a big part of my life.  He helped my dad remodel our downstairs part of the house and i have a piece of wood he wrote his name on to this day.  I was in contact with Ricky's sister Linnie a few years ago.  I miss Ricky to this day.
