Marriage license and certificate says: E. G. G. Krenzien and Martha M. H. Belz were married at the E. L. St Johns Church in Stanton, Nebraska on October 24, 1882.

According to his obituary: He had eight children, three having died in infancy, those living being: one son, Walter Krenzien of Norfolk, four daughters, Mrs. L. J. Poessnecker of Rupert, Idaho, Mrs. S. E. Eddy of Stanton, and the Misses Adele and Hilda Krenzien of Stanton, and one brother and two sisters in Germany.
