Stories

My brother was divorced at the time of his death.

High School Days

Sender Message Larry Sacks Information Related to your TWS Remembrance Profile #413127     John and I were friends from kindergarten through his college days. John told me about the special mission he was going on in a cryptic letter shortly before his death. In high school, John wore a leather jacket and used to hang around school across the street. Tom Miller, a schoolmate was the producer of happy days and many of us believed that the FONZ in happy Days was really John.

From His Sister

Sender Message Ellen Abrams Blankenship Information Related to your TWS Remembrance Profile #413127     Location of interment: Spring Hill Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
Hometown of record is Menomonie, WI, but his real hometown was Milwaukee, WI.
I am John's sister.
Yes, Larry, I also thought he was the Fonz! And John Travolta in a pilot's uniform reminds me of him. Perhaps I am just wishfully seeking my dear brother, who I still miss every day, 44 years later, July 13th.
