George B. Mitchell, son of Edward Y. and Victoria A. Mitchell. He was born in Miami County, Ohio on 30 October 1859. He married Flora A. Brandt in Pipe Creek Township, Miami County, Indiana on 11 Jan 1880. George and Flora had three children, Wilbur, Harry and Emma. George and Flora divorced sometime between 1900 and 1902. George migrated to Warroad, Minnesota and married Anna Matilda Dowsland McDonald in 1902. George died in Warroad, Minnesota on 15 Jul 1924
