Jane Duval JENKINS, widow of George Jennings MURRAY (born in Scotland) who received a 600 acre Spanish Land Grant in 1803. George died in Philadelphia PA in 1822. Jane claimed the grant and was approved in 1825 and she moved back to FL about 1826. George was part of the engraving firm of Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. of Philadelphia which he helped form in 1820--they contracted to create plates for many of the early paper money items as well as other engraving items.
