You asked me to Marry you, but as you know I wanted to go into the Navy which I did. Our families where close we all went to the same Church, St. Joseph, Grade School, St. Joseph, High School, Joliet Township High. Then you joined the Marines. My mother called me and told me. I could not go to your funeral, cause of my parents told me they would go in my place and my Commander said we where short of personnel. It bothers me as I wanted to be there to be with Susan (your sister and your parents). At that time we where pressure to get Cadets graduate and to their next destination duty station. I always think about you and your are in my heart. We all had good memories of growing up. I did come to visit you grave I hope you felt me there.
