Broomhall McKisson fought in the Civil War. He enrolled at Belmont Ohio August 6, 1862 in Capt. Cordner's Co. 98th Regiment of Ohio Volunteers for 3 years. Mustered into service as a private at Camp Stuebenville, Ohio, Aug. 20, 1862 and died October 14, 1862 from the effect of wounds received in Battle of Chapin Hills, October 8, 1862.
