Clair J. Kroboth, 65, of Walnutport, departed in peace surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, Nov. 1, in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill, after a seven-month courageous battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Christine H. Lorah, who passed away in 1990.
He was a carpenter for various local businesses, having most recently worked for Skepton Construction, Pennsburg.
Born in Walnutport, he was a son of the late Edward Sr. and Margaret (Nothstein) Kroboth.
He was a member of F. & A.M. Lodge No. 440, Slatington, and the Rajah Shriners and the Slatington Royal Arch, and was a 32nd Degree member of Lehigh Consistory and the Forks of the Delaware Shrine Club Tin Lizzies.
Kroboth was a past president of the Slatington Lions Club; and a member of the Hillbillies, American Legion Post 16 and the Moose Lodge, all of Slatington, and was a life member of the Slatington Skeet Club; and a member of the Knight Temple of the Royal Arch.
