Howard Irving Lewis

My father married a Marie Louise ELFERS, in the Mayflower Hotel, Washington DC- Feb., 1947.  My mother, Marie was born an Annibrita d'WAINIO, in New York City on Feb., 08, 1921- she became an orphan when very young her mother died in NYC of an infection and left 5 young children, 2 adopted, one left in the adoption home and her father left NYC a Frank d'WAINIO, with the 2 oldest, who he took with him.

The only male child put up for adoption was adopted by a MAXWELL.
