This was my grandfather's 2nd B-24, his first going down in the Pacific on his first mission escorting a Naval recon plane photographing Saipan prior to the Battle of Saipan. This plane was named "Bathless" because its crew had previously floated in the Pacific for 5 days and 6 nights.
