Enjoyed reading. especially in knowing my father-in-law was a P.O.W in Germany for two years of his life.

It seems rather starange that Soviet general Ivan Sousloparov put a sign with latin letters but not with cyrillic

Notice how this is not as extensive as the Japanese surrender. It seems their resolve was not as strong as that of the Japanese.
