About this Document
The main purpose of these submarine war patrol reports was to keep the Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Fleet, and others apprised of the records of submarines in carrying out their primary mission of sinking enemy ships. Most reports are typed mimeograph copies and include daily narratives of a vessel's locations and activities.
