WWII Foreign Military Studies, 1945-54The manuscripts within this title provide a unique insight into the tactics, strategy, and policy of the German military during World War II through reports, interviews, and questionnaires. This collection was originally compiled to obtain information on enemy operations in the European Theater for use in the preparation of an official history of the United States Army in World War II. Many of the more recent studies have analyzed the German experience with a view toward deriving useful lessons.
