12th AF, 57th Bomb Wing, 321st BG, 447th BS. They flew in the B 25 Mitchells that helped win the war in the MTO. T/Sgt Edward Ennis joined the AAC, scoring high, skipped basic, went immediately to Scott Field for Radio, then to Boca Raton, Fla. to learn the Top-Secret Airborne RADAR. Re-joined his best friend, Brownie at DeRitter, La and flew over the Atlantic in the Famous Knapp Group. Combat Missions over Africa, Italy, Air-offensive, Balkans, Sicily, Rome-Arno. He crossed the Atlantic with Pilot, Lt. Albert Duke in the B 25 "Trigger"#41-13171 a RADAR ship. The 321st BG holds many great Honors and accomplishments., 2 Presidental Unit Citations, The 'Save the Day" Mission at the Monte Cassino . . . .
