This is John James Baker, brother-n-law of Francis M Gilmore/F. M. Gilmore "Frank", also of the 45th co D. Both resided Society Hill, Macon, AL. John Baker was born in Sumter, SC, son of Benjamin Baker & Tabitha Vause, also of Sumter, SC., they also resided in Society Hill. Also W.W. Gilmore of the 45 Co D was Francis Gilmore's brother, William Wiley. All three together... Francis Gilmore was my husband's gr-grandfather.
